Welcome to the Eleventh Macau Symposium on Biomedical Sciences 2025
Introduction
The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) of the University of Macau (UM) is delighted to announce our annual faculty highlight, the 11th Macau Symposium on Biomedical Sciences (MSBS2025). This prestigious event is scheduled to take place from 20 to 21 June 2025 at University Hall (N2) and Multi-Function Hall (N1) of UM, with a theme of “SCIENTIFIC IMPACT”.
Symposium Overview
MSBS2025 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results. The symposium will cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Cancer Immunology
- Genome Biology
- Neuroscience, Aging, and Degenerative Diseases
- Stem Cell, Gene and Cell Therapy
- Technology Development
- Tumour Immunology and Immunotherapy
- Biomaterials and nanomedicine
- Microbiology
- New Technology

The symposium provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for direct and efficient communications that foster new scientific ideas and lead to novel advances in the biomedical science field.
MSBS has been the hallmark event of FHS since 2014. Last year, we were grateful to have gathered over 400 participants and scholars from different regions. Particularly, it was our pleasure to have Xiao-Fan Wang from Duke University School of Medicine, USA, as our keynote speaker in MSBS2024.
